Ink Drawing/Painting, Drawing II

Well, where to begin? In 2008 I arrived at NCC in hopes of finding out whether my love for the arts could be pushed into new territory that would help me develop as an artist. Up to this point I was only familiar and exposed to traditional art, and the only parts of that category I knew were painting and drawing. I knew my level of skill and creativity, but for the first time, thanks to the dedicated teachers and staff, I was able further develop my style and enhance my skills. I discovered new ways to express my ideas using many new tools I was exposed to, using those tools in many other categories besides drawing and painting.

My ideas begin to spill into digital media, ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, and, to many other fields. Even though my focus is graphic design, it reflects on what I did in other fields of art, and the great teachers that helped me get there. Thanks to the great group of teachers, staff, and students, I was able to experience art in its many different forms such as digital, 2D, 3D, and in a form of literature. Thanks to what I learned here at Norwalk Community College, I'll be able to take that experience with me and continue to grow.
