Business TechnologyCertificate Program
This one-year Business Technology Certificate Program has been prepared for and is open to those who have an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree. The program consists of Accounting, Business and Business Technology courses.
Successful conclusion of the program leads to a certificate for 30 credit hours of college study in the Business Administration field.
The Business Technology program prepares students for positions such as office manager, administrative assistant, and business manager.
Below is a list of courses required for this certificate or degree

Program Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of all Business Technology
Certificate program requirements, graduates will:
1. Read, understand and prepare standard types of business communications.
2. Possess appropriate skills in the following software applications:
operating system, word processing, spreadsheet, database management,
integrated office applications, desktop publishing and presentation
graphics and other software appropriate for the office environment.
3. Understand and develop skills required in speed dictation of business
correspondence, preparing forms, documents, and transcribed material.
4. Employ appropriate office procedures.
5. Understand and perform office accounting tasks.
6. Demonstrate speed and accuracy in keyboarding skills.
7. Have gained appropriate cooperative education experience in this field.
