Management Course of Study

Mission Statement
Norwalk Community College's Management Career Program is designed to help students build a sound foundation in the techniques and perspectives of both the theory and practice of modern management in today’s world of work. The curriculum includes (but is not limited to) Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Accounting I, Introduction to Business, Business Law, Principles of Finance and Business Applications Software.

The Management Career Program examines the various components of business management and provides the Management student with knowledge to manage the profit and non-profit organization. Successful completion of the program leads to the Associate in Science Degree and the student will be academically equipped to pursue careers in various areas of management and administration and/or to transfer to a four-year institution. Successful completion of the program leads to the Associate in Science Degree.
