Testing out of BU 115. 1) Student must meet with his or her Program Coordinator to see if he/she qualifies to take the placement test. 2) Student picks up Application for Credit by Examination form at the Counseling Office, fills it out and pays $40.00 to the NCC Business Office. 3) Student schedules an appointment at the Testing Center, locate4d on the East Campus, first floor, Room East 111. Call the Testing Center at (203) 857-7070 to schedule an appointment. There is no time limit on the exam, but students should allocate at least two hours to take it. 4) Once the day and time have been established, the student should bring one blank, formatted 3.5 inch floppy disk along with the Credit by Examin form. The examination tests for the following: Part I, Multiple choice:
35 total questions at one point each. Part II, Hands on projects:
65 points total Grand Total: 100 points. Students must get 70% correct to test out |
