Mathematics/Science Department
The Mathematics/Science Department is one of the largest departments at Norwalk Community College with fifteen full-time faculty members. Together the department encompasses over 200 years of teaching experience. The Department houses many academic courses and two academic programs including the Engineering Science and Technological Studies program and a Liberal Arts and Science program with a Science and Mathematics option. Events sponsored by the Department include Mathematics/Science Awareness Day, Math Contest and the Science Fair. The Mathematics/Science Department also enriches student's academic and social development through two clubs, the Biology Club and the Chemistry Club.
