NCC has a state-of-the-art, live television production studio that is the envy of many larger schools. In the TV production courses students practice live production s in the form of interviews, narratives, instructional programs, news reports and music video. Many graduates are already working in the industry and credit NCC’s television studio courses with giving them the ground work for their new careers.

A student director talks with one of his camera operators..While taking courses in TV production, students intern at several broadcast and production facilities in the area. After two courses in TV production students are eligible to apply for hands- on paid positions at NCC’s Scholas Tek Studio Productions facility. Scholas Tek Studio produces commercials and promotional videos for NCC. It also produces the NCC NEWS program which runs on Cable Vision.

NCC has a 23X40 foot studio with three cameras, two teleprompters, 16 microphone capacity. A real time production control room equipped with an analog tape to tape editing systems, one digital tape editing system, a live production switcher, one character generator, one graphics generator, one frame store device, and a 24 input audio mixer. It also features an editing suite with two analogue tape to tape editors and seven Avid Express DV nonlinear editors.
