Fitzsimmons holds a B.F.A from Washington University, and an M.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

The Kohn-Joseloff Gallery was founded in 1998 through gifts from the Kohn-Joseloff Foundation. The gallery features exhibits from current students and alumni of Cheshire Academy, along with exhibits from celebrated artists in the New Haven and Hartford area.

Secrets & Lies is a juried photographic exhibition that explores issues of anonymity, surveillance, and the illusion of privacy in a digitally inter-connected world. The exhibition is presented by The Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) of the University of Cambridge in association with United Photo Industries and Photoville.
Secrets & Lies will be on view at Cambridge University’s Alison Richard Building from February 3 to March 14, 2014, before crossing the Atlantic for a second showing as part of Photoville in Brooklyn, NY, in September 2014.

Artists have created art in national parks since the late 19th century when famed Hudson River painters captured the majestic views of our nation's western parks. Today, the sights and sounds in national parks continue to inspire artists in more than 50 residency programs across the country. Whether staying in a remote wilderness cabin at Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska, or contemplating history at the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site in Iowa, or working in a contemporary studio overlooking the stone-lined fields at Weir Farm National Historic Site in Connecticut, these programs provide artists with unique opportunities to create works of art in varied natural and cultural settings.

The Pierogi Flat Files began in 1995 with the idea of making original artwork available to a larger audience. The files themselves are chests of flat drawers holding portfolios of artworks, including all types of media, from painting, drawing, and collage on paper, to photography…anything more or less flat that can fit in the drawers. The first files were exhibited at Four Walls in Brooklyn and consisted of 20 artist portfolios. Since that time curators, collectors, critics, art dealers, and the general public have donned white gloves to view work in the files, which have grown to include the work of over 700 artists, and which have been widely imitated. In 2009 Pierogi launched an online version of the Flat Files, searchable by artist, media, or basic stylistic tags.
